My body of work reflects a style considered as Abstract Expressionism. The paintings are a fusion of genres that include Japanese sansuiga and suibokuga, Impressionism, and stain paintings. Combining these stylistic choices I create fantasy landscapes and non-objective works with a primal overtone, blended with organic, thematic elements.
My source of inspiration comes from forms found in nature that serve as divine influence for both non-objective and objective work, including skyscapes and landscapes. The compositions are created by impressions of various locales that I have resided in, including the mountainous regions of
Colorado, Alaska, and the islands of British Columbia, Canada.
